How this calculation works
The contiguous US spans four time zones — Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific — each one hour apart. Adding Alaska and Hawaii-Aleutian gives six total. This converter handles all six with DST awareness.
Daylight saving time in the US runs from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November. Hawaii and most of Arizona do not observe DST, staying on standard time year-round.
