Who runs AllMoneyCalc

AllMoneyCalc is an independent editorial research project run by The AllMoneyCalc Editorial Team. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any government agency, employer, bank, insurance company or school — and we do not issue licenses or financial products. The team is responsible for every page, figure and tool on this site.

Our Mission

AllMoneyCalc exists to give every American worker and small employer an instant, accurate, and completely free way to understand their pay and overtime rights under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). We believe payroll math shouldn't require a paid tool, a login, or a law degree. Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser — your numbers never leave your device.

What Makes Us Different

  • FLSA-accurate by default. Our overtime and exemption logic follows 29 CFR Part 541, restored effective May 15, 2026.
  • State-specific rules. California daily overtime, New York hospitality rules, and Texas federal-standard treatment are built in.
  • Plain-English results. Every output includes a human-readable interpretation, not just a number.
  • Zero friction. No account, no paywall, no data collection on your inputs.
  • Print-friendly. Every calculator produces a clean, ad-free printout for pay discussions or budget meetings.

Our approach

Data is compiled from primary sources — the U.S. Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division, 29 CFR Part 541, the IRS, and state labor departments — with retrieval dates on every page. Every figure is verified against a primary source before it is published; anything unverified is marked as pending or omitted entirely. Our open dataset is refreshed annually with a versioned changelog on the blog.

Our Data Source & Compliance

Work-hours and overtime calculators comply with official FLSA standards published by the U.S. Department of Labor, including the 40-hour workweek overtime threshold, 1.5× time-and-a-half pay, state-specific overtime regulations, and exempt/non-exempt employee criteria (29 CFR Part 541, effective May 15, 2026).

Operative federal thresholds reflected across the site:

What we are not

We are not a law firm, a payroll provider, a financial advisor, a licensing authority, or a course provider. Where paid services help, we point to reputable third-party providers, but we hold no special endorsement from them and our recommendations are never paid for. Rules and figures change — always verify with the official source or a qualified professional before acting.

Editorial Standards

Our guides cite primary sources — the DOL Wage and Hour Division, the IRS, and state labor departments — and show an updated date on every article. We do not accept paid placements in our editorial content. Where affiliate links appear, they are disclosed per FTC guidelines.

About AllMoneyCalc — FAQ

Is AllMoneyCalc really free?
Yes. Every calculator and guide is 100% free. There is no premium tier, no paywall, and no account system. The site is supported by advertising, never by charging users.
Who writes and reviews the content?
Content is written and editorially reviewed by the AllMoneyCalc team against primary sources — the U.S. Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division, 29 CFR Part 541, the IRS, and state labor departments. We do not publish AI-only articles without human review.
How often are the FLSA figures updated?
We track DOL rulemaking and update thresholds whenever a final rule takes effect. The current figures reflect the 2019 rule formally restored May 15, 2026 (91 FR 27833). The effective date is shown on every overtime tool and in the footer.
